Scott A Zurn, P.E. (Founder, CEO, and Head Engineer) identified a gap in the industry causing stress for homeowners, lost time for contractors, and unmet needs for real estate agents. In 2015, he founded Level Engineering, a national firm of independent design professionals focused on creating designs that benefit the planet and foster entrepreneurial success. Scott's extensive experience in engineering and public works, including roles as Public Works Director for Estes Park and Civil Engineer for Longmont, informed his vision. He was named Transportation Professional of the Year by ITE in 2013 and is a Public Works Leadership Fellow with the APWA. Scott has managed hundreds of millions in federal grants and projects, earning the ENR Best Project of 2009 for a major redevelopment. Scott holds numerous certifications, including Registered Professional Engineer in multiple states, Certified Building Plan Examiner, and APWA leadership fellow. He is a member of ASCE and APWA.
